Hi there! I'm Neki
I'm a 32-year-old Venezuelan makeup artist and content creator with more than 305k followers currently living in Bogotá, Colombia. What I love most is transforming my face into optical illusions and fantasy characters. With over six years of experience in the artistic field, my work combines body painting, 3D makeup, special effects, and characterization techniques. I've collaborated with influential global brands such as Mehron Makeup, Revolution Beauty, Ucanbe, ttdeye, Amazon Prime, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Diamond Films, and many more.
My approach is based on teaching through technique, but also through passion and my own style, motivating my students to discover their creative voice. 1. INTRODUCTION
In the first module, you’ll get a solid introduction to the course and your instructor, followed by essential daily and night routines to prep your skin. You’ll explore the basics of pre-makeup, including foundation techniques, brow covering, and even bald head creation. From there, we move into the first strokes of paint, where you’ll start learning the art of blending and adding fantasy details to the eyes—laying the perfect base for more advanced looks to come.
2. AVATAR
Here we'll dive into building a strong base for Avatar character transformation. You’ll learn the creation of ears, how to reshape facial features with morphology changes, and refine your skills in painting and blurring for a seamless finish. We’ll also cover eye structure and painting techniques to bring your characters to life, finishing off with details and essential post-production steps to polish your final look.
3. DRAGON
Module 3 focuses on bringing a dragon-inspired character to life from the ground up. You’ll learn how to develop a concept and craft prosthetics, then create everything from scratch, including how to structure and paint complex forms. We’ll explore the use of props, how to secure them effectively, and complete the look with face painting and final details that add realism and depth.
4. EYE LOOK
Module 4 dives into building a powerful eye look and expressive features. You’ll work on understanding the face space, designing around the eyelids, and creating full eye effects that captivate. We’ll also shape a striking mouth design and bring everything together for a cohesive and dramatic final look.
5. JUNJI ITO LOOK
Final module delves into crafting eerie, surreal styles inspired by Junji Ito’s iconic horror art. You’ll explore how to create fantasy skin, build intense textures, and sculpt realistic structures. From expressive eyes to fur details and intricate line work, this module helps you master the subtle elements that bring unsettling beauty to life.
